One of the most notorious infomercial marketers, Lapre has been in and out of trouble since starting up his direct response career in the late ’80s. During the 1990s, he hosted “Don’s Making Money,” although more recently he pushed a vitamin-related multi-level marketing scheme until it was shut down by the government. His former business partner is now on trial for murder. He helped Dean Graziosi get his start in the business.
